SUMMER NATURE WALK:

Go for a family walk around the block or head elsewhere to explore nature at a State or Provincial Park.  What do you see on your walk or hike?  What signs of nature were there? Animals, insects, plants...

Print out my Summer Nature Walk chart to record what you see, hear, smell, touch/feel while out exploring.

GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY:

If you have a backyard perhaps you could plant some flowers or vegetables.  If not, try to grow veggies in a container.  If you live in an apartment you can grow succulents.  Visit your local Greenhouse to get ideas.
